This cash assessment reflects the value of a cargo of gasoil with a maximum sulfur content of 1,000 ppm delivered CIF Mediterranean basis Genoa 10-to-25 days forward from the date of publication and excludes Russian-origin. Other ports will also be taken into account for the assessment. This product is primarily used as heating oil but is also used as diesel transport fuel in some locations. It is a flat price assessment and is traded as a differential to low-sulfur gasoil futures or as a differential to the underlying forward curve. Quantum identifies Russian-origin diesel and gasoil as: not arriving on a ship controlled, operated or flagged by Russia, or where to the seller's best knowledge it has not been produced or blended with Russian produced molecules.
