US crude and gasoline stocks fall, distillates rise

Quantum Commodity Intelligence - US crude and gasoline stocks fell last week while distillate inventories rose, according to sources, citing American Petroleum Institute figures on Tuesday.

Crude stocks fell by 1.2 million barrels over the week to 13 August.

Gasoline inventories fell by 1.2 million barrels and distillate stocks rose by 502,000 barrels.

The US Energy Information Administration will release its weekly oil inventory report at 1430 GMT Wednesday.
