Quantum Commodity Intelligence - US crude stocks fell 4.1 million barrels last week, sources said, citing data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) Tuesday, far less than the 8 million barrel draw reported for the previous week.

Gasoline inventories fell by about 1.5 million over the week to July 9, compared with a 2.7 million draw in the prior week, and distillate stocks rose by about 3.7 million barrels, after gaining 1 million barrels over the week to July 2.

The US Energy Information Administration will report its weekly statistics on Wednesday.
