STOCKS DATA: Fujairah fuel oil, light end, distillate stocks hit 1-mth low
Quantum Commodity Intelligence - Oil product inventories held in Fujairah fell across the barrel in the second week of October with fuel oil, light ends and middle distillate stocks easing from recent highs and all reaching one-month lows.
Weekly data from FEDCom and S&P Global Platts published Wednesday showed fuel oil stocks slipping by 1.33 million barrels in the week to October 17 – its sharpest fall in over two months – to just above 12 million.
At the same, distillate stocks fell for a third straight week to 3.17 million barrels, down 1.5 million barrels since the end of September, with fall that fall occurring in the most recent week.
Finally, inventories of light ends eased by 0.34 million barrels on the week to 7.22 million barrels.
The synchronized fall across all three product groups, left total stocks at 22.46 million barrels, down 2.46 million on the week – its sharpest weekly fall since February this year.
