Repsol to sell Italian fuel business to Tamoil: fee undisclosed

London, (Quantum Commodity Intelligence) - Spanish energy major Repsol has agreed to sell its Italian fuel business to Tamoil, which runs a number of operations in downstream oil and gas across Europe.

The deal includes Repsol's network of 275 service stations, mainly located in the north of the country, and its direct fuel sales business.

The direct fuel sales business in Italy has more than 1,000 customers, including private individuals, public entities, and distribution agencies, according to the company.

The transaction is expected to be finalised in the next few weeks.

The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
