Chinese diesel exports in April rise 6% on year: customs
London, (Quantum Commodity Intelligence) - Exports of diesel from China rose 5.7% during the month of April, according to monthly China customs data, a figure that was marginally down on March export figures but up on the year as crude processing rose.
Total diesel exports stood at 2.72 million mt in April, compared with 2.81 million mt in March and 2.58 million mt in April 2020.
The figures mean that China has exported 8.97 million mt of diesel so far this year, up 1.1% on the same period in 2020.
Gasoline exports stood at 1.47 million mt in April, marginally lower than March's figure of 1.56 million mt, but a chunky 22.8% down on the 1.9 million mt exported in April 2020.
Total gasoline exports so far this year are 6.6 million mt, up 1.8% on the year.
Jet fuel exports were 660,000 mt in April, down by two thirds on the 2 million mt shipped in April 2020.
